Linda has a B.S. in fine art and an M.S. in biology. Art in its various forms has interested her all of her life. Her professional life was spent in various laboratories as a research scientist in molecular biology and plant physiology. She is now retired and spending much of her time painting in acrylic and oil. Painting for her is about saving the impressions, moods and feelings of what she sees. These are expressed in her most recent paintings as abstracted representation. She lives in Fallbrook and on Palomar Mountain. Each summer, Linda participates in "Art of the Lawn", a family-sponsored event in Logan, Utah. This is a non-profit fund-raiser that supports the arts and libraries in Cache Valley, Utah.
